Humanities - In class today we started outlining our speeches. The students were given the assignment of a 5 minute speech to do in front of the class. They have already picked their topics and began work today in class. The other hour of humanities was devoted to reading counts.

HOMEWORK - Continue working on speech. This could be the outline, or actually starting to write and practice their speech.


7th grade English - In class we went over chapter 9 of our novel Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, then took a quiz.

HOMEWORK - Students are to to read chapter 10 of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.
